Chase has been ADOPTED!!  Please check out our other beautiful fur babies up for adoption.

Chase is a special needs boy. He loves the water, splashing around in his baby pool is his go to cool off spot. He tosses his head in the water then back up to shake it off. Chase is a zoom zoom zoom boy. Tell him "Lets go potty outside and he has to run run run before he goes potty. I believe he would be great for some place that can teach him a job to do, he is very smart. Chase is an INSIDE boy. All of our animals regardless of size are inside babies, NOT outside pets. Chase also LOVES to ride on the golf cart. small seats make it a bit difficult because of his stiff leg but he gets up there and settles in or he gets in the back. I use a harness and leash that is clipped to the roof so no one falls out. Safety keeps things fun and not at the ER.

Deformed leg from accident prior to rescue.

No small dogs. (He is being fostered with 11 other dogs including a chiweenie. However the chiweenie excites him, so he chases the chiweenie. He doesn't hurt him at all but I do not think he would be a good fit with someone that has small dogs that aren't used to bigger dogs.

  • Age -2 years DOB est. 6/26/2024

    • Neutered
    • up to date on vax
    • microchipped
    • Chase was heart worm positive. He has been treated for his heart worms but will continue to test positive until they have all died out. It is imperative that he continue hw prevention on time every month.
    • Chase is a special needs pup for a leg injury he sustained prior to rescue. We have x rays and had it checked out for possible resetting of the bone. Unfortunately the placement of the break being so close to the knee and the way the leg healed, it fused the knee as well as healing the leg at an angle. This makes him a trip hazard because his leg sticks straight out and down. Amputation is not an option because he does still use it to balance, walk, even run. Amputation would cause more damage to his hips as he gets older.
    • This beautiful boy can zoomie with the best of them!
